- There are people who are real life superheroes around the United States who take crime fighting into their own hands. Here’s a trailer from the HBO documentary that debuted recently.(Note: I’ve only seen the trailer, not the movie.)
Here’s a link to news articles about Real Life Superheros.

- I just finishedThe Dirty Life: on farming, food and love
by Kristin Kimball which documents Kristen’s transformation from New Your City travel writer to full-time farmer. Kristen and her husband Mark started Essex Farm with the idea ofcreating a “whole diet” CSA (Community sponsored agriculture), so they would provide meat, eggs, dairy products, syrup, fruits, vegetables etc. to all their share members. It wasinteresting to reader her memoir about the process and the vivid descriptions of farming. I’d recommend the book for anyone who likes thinking about where food came from.If you’re interested in their farm, check out this pdf with the description (http://www.newenglandvfc.org/pdf_proceedings/2009/EssexGHPM.pdf
