We didn’t plant them

First sign
Spring’s sneaking up
purple white crocuses
surprise along foundation
New hope

Today’s NaPoWriMo prompt was to write an American Cinquain, also here’s Erin’s poems.

    The moon was half
    We shared a laugh
    Over a duckling show

    Stove aglow
    Melting snow
    A half circle smile of orange

    Darkness developed
    Mind show enveloped
    Eggs, bananas and dreams

    Over and out
    But not with a shout
    Just a quiet reprieve
